Most of us teachers will understand the mechanics of the B2 speaking exams we prepare our students for and have a few tricks of the trade to give our candidates the best chance for success. But what precisely is it that a candidate at this level needs to demonstrate? Let’s take a deeper look at how to gauge if students are at the right level, what they need and how we can best help them to exam success.

As teachers, we often hear we need to prepare our students for a rapidly changing world, one in which they’ll need transferable skills and competencies to prosper. This session will look at how short video can be used to foster the 4Cs: critical thinking, communication, collaboration and creativity. It will provide teachers with a range of practical, adaptable activities that equip teens and adults alike with the skills they need, whilst at the same time engaging and entertaining them.
