Katherine Stannett has been an EFL teacher, editor and writer for over twenty years. She started her teaching career in Japan in 1990, working with students of all ages. She has edited many key EFL course and reference books including ‘Grammar Time’ and ‘Yazoo’, and has recently co-written a course for Eastern Europe. She has also written a number of songs and raps to teach English.
“We wanted students to use 21st century skills to expand their knowledge and learn English within a framework of culture and citizenship. Students and their teachers have a range of dynamic, new, digital and print materials for use in class and at home. Online, offline and digital content creates an environment that is fun, fast-moving and familiar for students who are digital natives. And for less digitally native teachers-or digital tourists-it provides a user friendly tool which enhances the teaching experience.”
